David grew up in Country Victoria and graduated in 2004 from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelors Degree of Science. Originally harboring aspirations for a career in the Pharmaceutical industry David moved to Adelaide and was introduced to a number of recruitment companies. The idea of a career directly in recruitment was introduced to him and David accepted a position working within an Engineering team, mainly supplying to Adelaide’s Engineering Consultancies.
David has a natural flair for recruitment and consequently developed rapidly. He was tasked, amongst other things, with developing a Defence sector which he achieved with excellent results. As part of the engineering teams commitment to assisting and providing advice to young engineers David also took the lead in writing and delivering a number of career seminars for under graduates and young engineers.
In early 2007 David resigned from this position and assisted Chris in establishing CTC. His mature and insightful business head has been fundamental in CTC’s ongoing success. David has also taken complete responsibility for developing Building Services to its current market leading position. He has now recruited and trained Kevin to take over this sector whilst he focuses on the ongoing Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Project Management roles as well as pushing the boundaries into construction and contracting companies.
David has enjoyed the challenges which come with starting up a new business; in particular he has taken great satisfaction from watching others achieve success. David is ambitious, focused and firmly committed to driving the business to its full potential.
He is an avid convert to life in SA and strongly believes in the excellent opportunities and quality of life which Adelaide has to offer young professionals.
David loves his sport and is actively involved as a player for the Old Ignatians Football Club.
