This is an exciting opportunity to join a defence organisation with an outstanding reputation in the industry. The company is based in Adelaide and has created a new role for an Electronics Engineer with a strong ability in electronics analysis.
Working within the Electronics Warfare and Radar Division at the DSTO, you will be primarily be responsible for analysing data with some elements of programming involved. However, being more of a systems role, your capabilities in analysing results will outweigh your skills in programming.
This position is suited to someone with qualifications in Electronics Engineering with at least 2 years experience post graduation and a general knowledge of electronics and electronics warfare. An understanding of Electro-optics is an advantage, as are computer skills in Matlab and Labview. To apply for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and either have, or be eligible to take part in, a security clearance.
As the position will be largely unsupervised, it is important that you are self-motivated and can show initiative. You will also demonstrate high level oral and written communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
