Project Manager - Electronic Systems - 984-KO

This South Australian owned and operated electronic and software engineering organisation has historically been one of the most successful defence engineering companies focusing on client satisfaction through high quality engineering and software design. They are currently looking for an experienced project manager to run the day to day operations of an exciting and secure project.

 

It is expected that you will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Computer Science and any experience in, or post graduate qualifications/studies in project management or other related areas would be highly regarded. To complement your technical abilities you will be fluent in all aspects of managing a team, communicating and reporting upon the projects and be efficient in the coordination of the individual phases of a project. Leadership and the ability to think outside the square to solve the problems that arise will be important as the role will encompass the coordination, scheduling, monitoring and reporting upon the status of the project.

 

Reporting to the program manager, this position will manage all aspects of the contracting process and provide cost management, coordination, scheduling and performance monitoring of projects. You will be able to effectively communicate with clients to build upon successful relationships not just with clients but also with the other divisions involved with the project delivery. Due to the nature of the projects you will either hold or be eligible for a security clearance at least to the level of ‘secret’.
