As a result of an internal transfer, an exciting opportunity has arisen to manage this highly regarded Forensic Engineering and Building Assessment / Inspection group. This national consultancy undertakes work in diagnosis and assessment and remediation advice covering building damage of all types. Trusted by the legal fraternity, building owners, builders and insurance loss adjusters their reputation extends overseas. With secure ongoing work you would lead a team of industry experts and further enhance the company’s market leading reputation.

 

Ideally with a Civil Engineering background you will either be proficient in structural engineering calculations and enthusiastic about extending your expertise into forensic engineering, or you will have extensive experience in building inspections, reports and building construction. Knowledgeable in reinforced concrete characteristics with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, you will be ready to undergo further development in this exciting area of Engineering. Whilst learning from industry experts and improving your forensic engineering capabilities, you would also assume a leadership role in terms of managing a technical group, maintaining and developing client relationships and initiating systems, procedures and processes to continue to deliver and expand a successful consultancy business.

 

Secure and varied work would include: risk assessments, natural disaster remediation, building maintenance recommendations and dilapidation surveys, expert witness & insurance work, and pre purchase building inspection reports. Projects range from: building structures, retaining walls and pavements to industrial sites, dams and abandoned mines.
