Accounts Assistant - Accounts Receivable

A highly-regarded engineering consultancy is currently seeking a proactive and reliable Accounts Assistant to join their team for approximately 6 months with the potential to be extended. 

Located on the southern outskirts of Adelaide CBD, close to public transport the successful candidate will be required to work fulltime hours between 8.30- 5 pm / 9 am - 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting with processing invoices in accounts receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting the accounts payable team when required
  • Payroll assistance if/when required
  • General office support (copying/scanning)
  • Any ad-hoc administration assistance as required
The successful candidate will:
  • Have a switched-on proactive nature
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience with reconciling accounts
  • Experience in AP and AR
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Have previous experience using Microsoft office
  • A lovely phone manner
  • Be reliable and honest
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Show high levels of initiative.
  • Reliable and available to work full-time hours
