Andrew brings 5 years of recruitment experience across the Architecture, Planning and Property sectors in South Australia. His life skills, however, span far more than 5 years in recruitment. Originally from Southend-on-Sea (home of the world’s longest pleasure-pier), Andy completed a Diploma in Business & Finance before working in a range of client-facing roles including 8 years as a broker for a global aviation insurance consultancy in London & Vancouver.
He moved to Adelaide in 2006, in search of a more fulfilling career, he completed a degree in Urban Planning & Design at the University of South Australia and worked in this field with both Council & The Government Property Developer. He also spent a year managing Adelaide Central Market.
At CTC Andrew is responsible for roles within Property, Architecture, Urban Design & Planning throughout Australia & New Zealand. With his detailed hands-on understanding of the market, passion and energy and outstanding customer service he is driven by his desire to genuinely help people and companies achieve their potential. As a true specialist in this sector, he can offer a genuine National perspective. Since joining CTC in 2018 he has loved the opportunity to specialise and build long-lasting relationships based on adding real value. His ongoing success is driven by recommendations and referrals from those he has helped.
Outside of work Andrew is run-off his feet guiding/being guided by his growing family of 3 boys 2 girls and all the sporting and creative outlets they enjoy. Coming from east of London, he is crazy about football /soccer and has played on 3 continents (at a very low grade!) but also has a passion for his kids’ sports of cricket, AFL and dancing. He loves meeting interesting people and tries to remain as fit and healthy/happy as possible. He is all about sharing the love!
The best part of my job: Getting to know and learning from interesting people passionate about making our cities better places to live and work.
Dream Holiday: Back to Vancouver with the kids and old friends – preferably in May when you can ski the Glaciers and enjoy trekking/biking/golf in the lower mountains, perhaps including a quick cruise to Alaska to see the wildlife.
Fav Food: A really good curry
Discipline: Urban Planning, Property and Architecture roles across Australia & New Zealand
